Its Burst Pro relies on a geometric design intended for users with the right hand due to the placement of the thumb button. The mouse has a silky surface, but its edges have been sanded to give the user a solid grip. The size of the mouse is ideally suited to gamers with small or medium-sized hands. However, the thumb buttons can be slightly too far back to our taste for those with large fingers. In addition, it is also a bit heavy. However, burst Pro is lightweight due to its translucent honeycomb-like structure beneath the surface.

This honeycomb design provides an additional benefit because the AIMO RGB illumination is reflected through the honeycombs giving a unique lighting effect. Furthermore, the mouse wheel is also illuminated. The setup of the RGB lighting and the assignment of buttons is carried out in the usual way using the easy-to-use Roccat Swarm software that offers a variety of choices for settings.

As far as equipment goes In terms of hardware, in terms of equipment, the Burst Pro is rather minimalistic. Two mouse buttons with two thumb buttons, a DPI switch, and an excellent mouse wheel – that’s pretty much all gamers require. The buttons come with pleasant pressure points. A further thing to mention is its PhantomFlex cable that barely provides any resistance due to its textile-coated. This means the mouse can glide across the mouse pad without significant disruptions to its PTFE glide surfaces. The only thing to be noticed is that the places of PTFE aren’t entirely flat and slightly curving inwards, which means that the mouse is likely to slide around their edges. This isn’t a huge issue. However, it could be improved slightly.

In the back of the case is a stunningly robust technology at a low cost. Roccat continues to rely on its in-house Owl-Eye sensor, a version of the well-known Pixart PMW3389 that operates at its average speed and accuracy. With DPI settings of up to 16,000 DPI and even high resolutions with the slightest mouse movements are not an issue. The lift-off can also be adjusted. The sensor is capable of 500G of acceleration and 400 IPS.

For mouse buttons, Roccat relies on optical switches, like the Titan Switch Optical, which perform exceptionally precisely and provide a long service lifespan with very little wear because of the absence of mechanical components. The click of keys generates mechanically. Other keys feature mechanical switches with excellent pressure points. There were no issues when using the buttons or keys. When we used them in the real world, they all worked swiftly and with precision. There have been isolated complaints about the left mouse from the public, but we couldn’t replicate them in our test samples.
